Among the most delicate and appreciated condiments of Italian cuisine, there is certainly the famous tomato sauce, a preparation obtained by cooking tomatoes and, generally, by seasoning them with oil and basil leaves, exactly as it happens for example on a classic of Neapolitan cuisine, namely the margherita pizza. Tomato sauce is used, as well as to garnish the aforementioned pizza, to prepare pasta, fish and meat dishes cooked in a pan or grilled.
