One of the most pleasant and fascinating Asian specialties is without a doubt Basmati rice, whose origin is to be found mainly in India and Pakistan, where there are different varieties and hybrids of the same, for several dozen different varieties of this extraordinary fragrant rice. This special variety of rice, to give the best results, must be rinsed before use, to ensure that the starch present on the surface of the grains is carefully removed: secondly, then, the cooking of this rice must take place following some precautions, such as, for example, preventing it from increasing in volume and becoming excessively overcooked.
