Agaricus bisporus is certainly a name that won't mean much to most people: in reality, however, this is one of the most famous and appreciated mushrooms worldwide, namely champignons, which are also particularly valid from a nutritional point of view, considering how themselves are particularly characterized by a high concentration of fiber and, secondly, also of B vitamins. Champignons can be purchased anywhere, since their availability is very high, thanks also to their particularly pleasant taste, which makes them as products available at any time of the year.

Use in cooking

Among the most protagonist mushrooms on our table, champignons are certainly at the forefront due to their versatility: in addition to being prepared sautéed, stuffed or au gratin, these mushrooms also find space in delicious recipes such as pizza or first and second courses , especially meat.

Preservation

The mushrooms can be stored in the freezer, once cleaned and cut, or alternatively they can be kept in the fridge drawer for a couple of days.

Curiosity

Champignon mushrooms are particularly rich in fiber or, alternatively, also in vitamins belonging to group B.
