Use in cooking
In cooking, cornstarch - or corn starch - is often used as a substitute for flour or, in other cases, for eggs or, finally, also for barley: in general, it therefore finds space among sauces of various kinds, such as thickener, or in desserts.
Preservation
The conservation of cornstarch, which should generally be kept in an airtight container, must take place in a cool, dry place.
