There is no ingredient as sought after and coveted as ice during the hot season, when the need for refreshment is more pressing than ever: thanks to ice cubes, in fact, it is possible to refresh, for example, glasses of drinks, or even prepare excellent cocktails especially with exotic ingredients or, finally, it is also possible to keep the fruit or, depending on the case, several bottles of white wines in the fridge during the hottest days especially outdoors. Ice is produced from water, which is brought to a solid state: once a shape has been filled, it is placed inside the freezer, where the ice itself must then be stored to prevent it from melting.
