Preparation

Preheat the oven to 160°C. Grease and flour a mould in the shape of heart, approximately 10 cm in diameter. Mix the eggs with the sugar in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer until the mixture is pale. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa powder over the mixture and stir in gently with a wooden spoon. Pour in the melted butter and mix. Pour the mixture into the baking tin and bake for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes in the cake tin, then remove and place on a wire rack and let it cool completely. Decorate with an icing glaze, mixing icing sugar, water and a few drops of orange juice. Use your preferred food colouring and sugared flowers to finish.

Tips
If you don’t have a baking tin in the shape of heart you can use a round one that’s not too wide. The result will be lovely you could add some icing sugar in the shape of a heart.
