When you're at the market visiting a fishmonger you trust, or if you are lucky enough to live in a town by the sea, don’t pass up the opportunity to buy some fresh fish, caught that morning! This time we present some lovely baby squid. They are a type of seafood and are characterized by their tenderness (if preserved and cooked as it should be) and richness in protein. It goes without saying that they are an excellent food for children. Great when eaten in seafood salads or stews; if fried bear in mind that the calorie count will inevitably rise. So this time we suggest a recipe for squid kebabs, despite their extreme simplicity: are you ready to try this dish, and transform your dinner party into something quite exotic?
Clean the squid of its entrails keeping only the tentacles and the heads. Attach 2 squid per skewer with the respective heads. Season the skewers with salt and pepper and drizzle with oil. Heat a large frying pan and sear on a very high heat for 1 minute per side. Serve very hot and enjoy!
