Preparation

Rinse your asparagus under clean running water and take off the outer layer with a vegetable peeler. Cut off the tips, boil them and keep these aside for garnish. Chop the rest of the stalks and sautee them with one finely minced onion and one handful of capers quickly rinsed and coarsely chopped. Add salt if needed. Once everything is soft, add milk and brie cheese and bring to simmer. Place your pasta in a large saucepan with boiling water and cook it until al dente. Drain the pasta when done, and mix it with the cheese sauce. Garnish with the asparagus tips, a sprig of basil and serve hot.

Tips
Give yourself a treat with this pasta and, why not, a glass of Pinot Bianco.
Trivia
Apart from being delicious, asparagus is also rich in potassium, and for this reason it's a cure-all vegetable, good for circulatory system and muscles.
