The gastronomy of Trentino Alto Adige is a rich and varied gastronomy, the result of a long history made of influences from the surrounding regions. Veneto, Lombardy but also Austria have deeply marked the flavors of Trentino, while South Tyrol is permeated by Slavic and German influences. Being a northern region, its gastronomy is particularly caloric and tasty, perfect for fighting the cold that hits these areas for many months of the year. Among the recipes to be included we find goulash, dumplings, both in broth and dry, sauerkraut with sausage, and then many versions of cabbage, many mushrooms, delicious seasoned cheeses, and to finish the irresistible apple strudel.
