Sometimes it is nice to make a dish full of flavour, something that gives us the pleasure of eating a specialty that leaves an impression. We suggest the following recipe inspired by US cuisine, which often surprises with its distinctive flavours and use of ingredients. What dish are we talking about? A lovely American-style chicken, a main course where the urge to lick your lips in anticipation will happen as soon as we get out the sweet pepper powder and white wine to create our special marinade. You must marinade the chicken pieces in a mixture of Parmesan cheese and the other ingredients as these are perfect as a complement to the breadcrumbs. To obtain a somewhat lighter result we suggest cooking your chicken in the oven; however, there’s no reason not to fry them if you prefer.
Cut the chicken into medium sized pieces. Remove the bone, skin and fatty parts. Prepare an emulsion of oil and white wine, add the grated cheese, sweet pepper powder, salt and pepper. Dip the chicken pieces into the mixture, make sure that they are all well covered and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours. Then drain the chicken pieces, dip them in breadcrumbs and place on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Bake at 200 °C for about 45 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy.
