Preparation

Clean and peel the onions. Cook them by placing them in boiling water and leaving them for 30 minutes. Once cooked, drain them, cut them in half horizontally, and arrange them on a serving plate. In a bowl, mix together oil, salt, freshly ground pepper, oregano, and chopped parsley. Dress the onions with the prepared sauce. The onions prepared in this way make a very suitable side dish for mixed boiled meats.
