MyItalian.Recipes uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the site works properly and, only with your consent, to measure visits. There is no third-party advertising on this site.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that visited sites send to the user's terminal, where they are stored to be re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit. They allow the user to be recognised and to record some information about their browsing.

The consent banner

On your first visit a banner lets you accept or reject. Until a choice is made, no statistics or advertising cookie is installed and no Google code is loaded: no requests are made to Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics.

• The «Reject» and «Accept» buttons look the same and carry the same weight: refusing is as easy as accepting.
• The «×» that closes the banner counts as a rejection.
• Scrolling the page does not constitute consent.
• Under «Settings» you can accept statistics and refuse advertising, or the other way round.
• Your choice is kept for 180 days and is not asked again before it expires.
• You can change your mind at any time from the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of every page. When consent is withdrawn, Google Analytics is switched off and any _ga cookies already set are deleted.

Types of cookies used

Technical cookies (necessary)

Essential for the site to work properly. They do not require prior consent.

• mir_consenso — stores the choice made in the banner (accepted or rejected). Lasts 180 days and applies to every language version of the site.
• Browser session storage — used on the recipe book confirmation page to remember which book was requested. It is cleared when the tab is closed.

Third-party analytics cookies — only with consent

Used to count visits and understand which recipes are read, in aggregate form. They are installed only after consent to the «Statistics» category.

• Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager (_ga, _ga_*) — Privacy Policy — Opt-out

This site shows no third-party advertising. The ads that used to appear on the search page were removed on 18 October 2026: the only products featured are those from the La Terra di Puglia shop, shown in the editorial boxes inside the recipes, which are links and set no profiling cookies.

Embedded third-party content

Some recipes include a video. The video player is loaded from the youtube-nocookie.com domain, which does not install cookies until the user starts the video.

Besides the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of every page, you can manage or disable cookies directly in your browser settings:
