MyItalian.Recipes is an international portal dedicated to authentic Italian cuisine, available in five languages: Italian, English, French, German and Spanish. Our goal is to introduce the world to Italian regional recipes in their most genuine form, told through a catalogue of over 16,000 curated recipes.
Our story
MyItalian.Recipes was launched in 2013 as the international evolution of Ricettepercucinare.com, an Italian gastronomy magazine active since 2003. While Ricettepercucinare tells Italian cuisine to an Italian audience, MyItalian.Recipes brings the same culinary heritage to an international audience, in five languages, with recipes translated and adapted to be understandable by anyone, anywhere.
The recipes in our catalogue come from Italian regional tradition: orecchiette from Puglia, Milanese risotto, Neapolitan pizza, Emilian tortellini, Tuscan ribollita — every recipe is told within its territorial context, with authentic ingredients, step-by-step preparation and typical variations from the area of origin.
The editorial group
MyItalian.Recipes is part of an editorial group headed by Pubblicitaonline.it, which also includes other magazines such as Ricettepercucinare, La Terra di Puglia, Salento con Gusto, Perle di Gusto, Shoppics, Makezone, Do You Tech and others. The network's mission is to share useful and engaging information with web audiences.
Chef AI: artificial intelligence in the kitchen
For some time now, our editorial team has welcomed a new "collaborator": a Chef AI, an artificial intelligence system that supports us in creating, reviewing and optimising culinary content, and which the public can consult directly to find recipes, pairings, suggestions.
It does not replace human expertise — and could not — but stands alongside it. It helps us structure complete guides, cross-reference nutritional information, verify recipe consistency, answer reader questions in five languages.
Cooking is made of hands, smell, memory and territory. AI doesn't know what it means to taste a ragù that has been simmering for three hours. But it knows how to organise information, find connections, answer questions when needed. That is its space. The rest remains ours.
The founder
MyItalian.Recipes was founded by Marco Gianfreda, a digital entrepreneur from Puglia with over twenty years of experience in online publishing. We owe to him the vision of building an editorial network rooted in the territory but with international scope, capable of speaking about gastronomy, culture and lifestyle with an accessible and concrete approach. From Puglia, he has launched projects that today reach hundreds of thousands of readers worldwide every day.
