Nutella and coffee cream in a glass

A truly delicious and charming dessert ... with an unbeatable pairing of gorgeous coffee and Nutella, with just the right amount of Nutella to go with the coffee for a quick dessert which is absolutely scrumptious. It is decorated with chopped hazelnuts which give this pudding a touch of crispness that combines perfectly with the softness of the cheesy cream mixture. The biscuits soaked in with Marsala complete the whole; if you’re giving this to children, you can replace the Marsala with milk or a chocolate drink. This dessert is great as a dessert, or to eat during a coffee break if you fancy a treat. What are you waiting for? Preparation

Blend the mascarpone and the cream cheese well. Combine the icing sugar, Nutella and coffee. Mix everything together well with a hand whisk, being careful to ensure the cheese doesn’t have any lumps. Crumble the biscuits into the bottom of a glass or small bowl, soak with a little marsala and then add a couple of tablespoons of the creamy mixture, and continue in this way for at least two layers. Garnish with a sprinkling of chopped nuts on the top.

Tips
To give a rather different flavour to your creamy Nutella and coffee, instead of chopped hazelnuts you can add chocolate chips or cereals, or a dab of whipped cream. Anything you fancy really, to enrich this fantastic dessert.
Trivia
This creamy glass of Nutella and coffee will keep in the fridge for up to two days; furthermore, if you want to make it in advance, do so for the creamy mixture, but add the other ingredients – like the biscuits and nuts – just before serving so that they retain their crispness.
