Potato salad

Rightly considered one of the pinnacles of the German culinary tradition, potato salad has always been popular amongst young and old, especially when you want to accompany grilled meat, for example, with something cold. Our potato salad recipe is enlivened with the taste and aroma of fresh parsley, gherkins and other delicious surprises. The only drawback of this dish is the possibility that it may vanish even before it is served and your guests are able to taste it!

Preparation

Boil and peel the potatoes. Sauté the chopped onion and sliced gherkins, then add a tablespoon of vinegar from the gherkin jar. Cut the potatoes into 1cm thick slices. Chop the parsley. Stir the gherkins and onions with the potatoes and parsley. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and one of mustard, then season with salt.

Tips
Do you want to give a touch more flavour to your potato salad? Consider adding a couple of spring onions.
